I was part way through this painting when Oliver posted his winter scene on YouTube just prior to Christmas. This is my contribution to the challenge he offered to us all.

I first visited this place, which is now home, in 1978. It is on the mid north coast of NSW and the place where my wife, girlfriend then, had our first holiday together. We always felt , after that visit, that this would one day be home. After many holidays here in those 40 years, the dream eventually came true in 2018. So dreams do come true and you can make them happen, just show a little patience. Who would quibble over a few years wait, certainly not me!
