Highway Barn
In a fairly recent post by Olly he spoke of painting old barns, so I decided to give this one a try. Having been at a workshop with Olly in Richmond VA, this past February we worked on perspective. After numerous attempts I think I captured the right perspective! Suggestions, comments about the overall painting will be gladly welcomed!

The photo, as I see it, shows minimal, if any, perspective being such a distance from you. The horizontal overhang/soffit is at your eye line. The roof line and foundation line are almost parallel to the eye line. I therefore assume your sketch was from a different photo or done en plein air. It has an effective perspective. Your sketch appears true to the large-shape architecture of the barn.
