At first I didn’t feel attracted to the scene but hey, it’s a challenge so let’s give it a go.

I worked from back to front. A light wash for the sky and the distant tree line. A pale wash to the foreground gradually painting in the midtones, trees further away and finally the prominent trees. I’m okay with the result. For me it was a good challenge.

Paper is Arches, 15”x11”, paint is DS.
