How to practice rocks
I'm very struggle with capturing collective of rocks scene.
Here is one example, but all my painting with rocks failed horribly. Especially when the rocks are irregular shape and cluster together.

I will agree with Paul. Rocks are not the focus of the painting, so it’s good they’re not done in detail. Maybe you can knock them back a bit and then you won’t find them so obtrusive
