As a beginner landscape painter, I am struggling with how to make distant mountains the focal point of a painting. Most landscape advice is more detail in foreground, but that can be distracting. Can anyone offer advice/ideas on composition changes or other techniques to capture the beauty of this mountain view a couple of miles from where I live?
