Daily watercolour for 15minutes??

If you could manage only 1st wash in a watercolour painting...in 15minutes..would you just do that ..leave it ..and continue next day? In my daily art time i have only 20-30 minutes actual painting time at the end of day. ..i can do bits and pieces of one painting in pastels or gouache or acrylics but in watercolour i feel disconnected. Whats your opinion?

I'm not an expert but have a couple of ideas that you could try. Perhaps you need to have more than one painting on the go at once? I struggle with timing and if I leave a wash too long and it dries out then I have a very fine spray (misting) bottle to rewet without disturbing the first wash - maybe that would help if you wanted to work wet into wet on day 2?
