Hairs breaking off mop brush - is this normal?
Hi everybody,
I bought myself a Da Vinci 418 Petit Gris mop brush a couple of weeks ago, and although it is a joy to paint skies with, I find that it sheds quite a lot of hairs, which I'm not too bothered with, but I also end up with a lot of small pieces of broken strands of hair when I'm done.
I think I handle it quite gently, but of course, I also do give it a run for its money, no doubt about that. Is this just to expect from a mop brush with natural hairs, even though this is a good quality (although nowhere near a top shelf) brush?
(Edit: Technically, this is probably a quill, but the question remains the same..)
(2nd edit: I quickly heard back from the shop I bought it from, and it definitely shouldn't behave like this, so I'm getting a new one!)

Thanks, but the issue is that all online orders above 32 euros (inc. shipping) from abroad comes with a significant additional customs handling fee and extra vat, often resulting in everything costing at least twice what the price tag says. And from 2023 that fee will be added on all orders, no matter the total value. I guess it's there to protect national and local retail, which is something thing I actually do applaud, however, it narrows the range of choice in certain areas. No worries, I get by! 😀
