Mixing pan and tube paint

Dear experienced and educated painters, please help with this basic issue: can I mix dry and liquid watercolours without losing in quality? And also in this respect - is it okay to mix, for example, W&N and Daler Rowney paints ? I don’t have much experience in watercolours or proper education.. When I do mix dry and wet paint of different origin, it behaves funny on a palette for a while, but not that I’ve noticed some particular undesirable effect on paper..

No problem to mix dry and liquid paints. All brands go together too!

Some painters have up to 5 brands on their palettes.

Oliver has two brands, Maimeri and Daler Rowney artists on his palette. I keep seperate palettes for each brand.

But I sure mix them together. Maimeri goes just fine with Daler Rowney Aquafine.
