Grounding a building

In the spring, while on vacation to Nantucket, I took a photo of the Jethro Coffin House, which was built in 1686 for one of my husbands ancestors. Today I decided to start painting it with a loose fall feel. It’s still in progress, but I noticed that at the moment, it feels like the house is floating. Open to any ideas you all might have on helping the house feel connected to the ground.
