Hot or Cold pressed paper?

Hi!

I’m struggling with the choices of the paper. I actually use Arches cold pressed, but I’m afraid that the format I use (A5) the texture of the paper is too strong, so I try the Hot pressed (but now I used a Baohong 100% cotton) and I can’t decide.

For landscape painting, and for your experience, which paper do you prefer?

My favorite paper is Daler-Rowney, cold press or high white rough. The paper can take multiple washes and paint can be easily lifted. The blocks are very nice and the glue around the edges holds well so the paper has minimal buckling.
