A Walk in The Woods
I liked the way the path split into two and the shadows falling across it.
For this one i have really tried to work in three stages; lights, big shapes and darks. I really had to restrain myself from fiddling and over working, just going with my first strokes and following the light rather than looking at leaves and branches.
Adding the walkers and dog creates a focal point - I added the dog to help lead the eye around the path so you can perhaps imagine it running into the foreground.
I didn't use any white at he end (well I tried but then removed it) as has been my habit up to now - it didn't seem to need it.
So personally this feels like a step in the right direction. However I think next time i should load my brush with more paint for the big shape 2nd phase and gradate the colors i use a bit more.
Any other advice very welcome.

Yes thats a far more dynamic composition - I can hear the rush of the water as I follow the water down in my mind. The steps now accentuate the height of the falls rather than clash with it. I would suggest to add a person stepping up them three quarters the way up to emphasize this even further.
Good luck with it!
