Last week-end the Swedish National Championship for Sheepdogs (say that quickly!) was held not far from our place. The location was beautifully set with the somewhat misty sea in the background. I didn´t have my sketchbook, but I did take some photos on site. Yesterday I chose one of those as reference for a small painting in my Khadi sketchbook. I had hoped for a more 'misty' look, but then I guess I should have subdued and cooled the colours. I might try that in a second version. Any suggestions are most welcome, as usual.
