Scotty Castle
We live in East Sussex and this castle is a few miles up the London Road. I lost heart with this attempt but returned after a few weeks. Water and reflections. Should the length of the reflections be the same as the height of the actual castle? What's a good colour or mix for grey stone walls?

Thanks for all the helpful comments. I have to confess this was from a photo I took but the emphasis of careful observation still applies I guess. I shall experiment with the greys on some scrap paper. I got the castle looking like sandstone which it isn't
