Sunrise
This is a little painting, A5, wetting the paper both sides and just applying washes and working fast. Im finding im becoming more critical of myself as I move forward, my skills trailing my ambition, but I guess thats a good sign. To temper this i'm working small and making various versions of each scene I attempt to just improve my technique. This was the third attempt at this one.

Beautiful washes Paul,, especially in the graduation. Maybe group the trees a little to avoid a regimented look.
I think the skill trailing ambition scenario is common to a lot of us, but coincidentally, I have recently started working smaller for similar reasons, also doing some work in series.
