No cycling on the beach

During lockdown I bought a mountain bike and used to head to the Nature Trails in Mombasa and would sometimes walk or ride back along the beach. Until one day I was stopped by the Kenyan Police who informed me that I should not be riding on the beach. I said that I had seen no signs and was curious as to why I should not. The officer informed me that I was destroying the little creatures in the sand. I looked behind me to see a camel taking a stroll and looked down as his big boots. I said that the surface area of the camels foot and his big boot far exceeded that of my tyres. "How would you like to accompany us to the station" was the response. This is dedicated to the camel..... and the little creatures of the beach.

Great story, always good to have an anecdote to accompany a picture.
