Small watermill

Recently I finished reading The Hobbit (first ever book that I've reed in English) and I wanted to do Shire inspired sketch so I found this view. I really liked reflections before I tried to add water flow marks. Stoped here not to ruin it more. Also with this paper I've noticed that after a layer or two paint just sits on top of the paper, never soaking in, so i Stopped adding things in certain places. Also I think I overdid distant trees and bushes.

Any comments are welcome!

I kept adding details, so now it is like a small painting? Where do you draw a line between a sketch and a painting?

If I spend hours or days on a painting, then I would usually regard it as a finished work, I also enjoy drawing, either with pencil, pen, or charcoal etc. I spend a lot of time on these drawings and feel they are finished work in themselves, although they do help to learn the tones and structure of things. Whether you think of your work as a sketch or finished work, I suppose depends on how you feel about it.
