This is probably the best painting I have ever made of Mooses.. Posture of the two is inspired by an image in a huntingmagazine of mine. I am sorry that the cow got streaky. But I am really struggling with painting in this heat.

Of moose and elks.. an oddity of the English language: the plural of moose is moose while the plural of elk is elks. Moose are native to N. America and elks to Europe. So perhaps Heidi is correct in referring to them as elks. 😉
