The Mother
After adding the ducks I thought this would be a nice title. A friend of mine then saw it and fell in love with it (she has three kids!) so I sent it to her as a gift. Cobalt turquiose and rose madder are my favourite colours at the moment. The ducks are drawn in with a carbon pencil - they are so small it would have been pushing it to use a brush.

Took me a little while to clock why you called it 'The Mother'. Made em look more carefully and then I saw the mother duck. I like paintings that tell a story as well as showing a scene
