Late Summer Shadows
This is a place near my home where a footpath runs across the fields, this particular spot, where there is a line of five trees, caught my attention, and I am, at present working on a series of paintings, from different viewpoints, compositions, and even different media, to see what results.
I have made one oil painting, which was a failure! This is my first watercolour.

Perhaps I didn't write my introduction to the painting very well!🥴 What I meant to say, is that I'm working on a series of paintings and drawings of this subject in different media. This was my first watercolour of THIS subject, I have been painting on and off for many years. As I explained in a previous reply, the tree on the left is behind a hedge which conceals the trunk, I have just failed to depict it properly.
