Winter trees
I am struggling with painting frosty trees with snow. i tried it with a sponge and was spritzing, but i am not satisfied. I dont like so much white on the foliage, it looks often like beton. How do you manage this?

I really like the bird on the water, its understated - the swoosh of white is enough. Do you know the painter Canaletto - his people up close are painted with the minimum of stokes, but from a distance read perfectly - it made me this of this.
