Well, failure is part of the plan. It has to be or I stopped learning. In the words of famous painter Tony Couch: The only way to fail is to give up.

Here is my latest learning experience.

The drawing out of my subject worked fine. A bit difficult locating eye level. But I think its okay.

First wash.

I painted many versions of trillium lake and Mt Hood. This is a very calm lake that I am comfortable with kids kayaking and swimming.

We come here every summer with friends and this is one of the moments. Hope there's time for a visit during spring break 😊
