Porcelain palette hack!

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to share a nifty little hack regarding the Jackson's porcelain palette. I absolutely love the palette, but having only two mixing areas has proven to be a bit of a nuisance, as I often have a need to quickly mix up a third or a fourth colour, still wanting my other mixes ready to go. Especially on my (not very well levelled) working surface, this called for some creative thinking..

Well, here's my hack: I put a line of kitchen/bathroom silicone on one or both mixing areas, and voila! 😎

(Just be careful when you apply it, as silicone is messy stuff. You really don't want it all over the mixing area, as you'll end up in a "beady paint purgatory"..)

Just bought a butchers enamel tray from Dille and Camille, they had loads of them, this wasnt even the biggest! Ive seen a lot of painters online using them so yeah, here it is.
